My name is Chris Bryant and I’m an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and founding pastor of COAH, Cherokee’s newest United Methodist Church.

This is my family: my wife Crystal, who is a poet, a dreamer, a fun-loving jokester, a prayer-warrior, and my number one fan; then there is my oldest son, Christopher who just started school and sports this year (soccer, baseball, football with basketball coming soon) and who occasionally lets me play trains with him; and finally Isaiah, who is a totally chilled-out, “I can handle things,” three year old. I just want to squeeze him and kiss his cheeks all day.

I’m passionate about: NASCAR racing; football, (I played in college… or practiced at least); continuing to date my wife; being a father to my kids; and seeing people become deeply committed followers (not just believers) of Jesus Christ.

• I believe that, “faith” without action means very little.
• I believe that church should be a place where people can think and ask questions and bring their doubts.
• I believe that church should be a place of healing and renewal.
• I believe that a church should make a difference in the community.
• I believe that Jesus taught our actions speak louder than our words.

This is why I started this church and why we named it what we did (Mt. 5:13-16), and I’d be honored to be your pastor.
