Get To Know Your Bible – CITY ON A HILL 2010 Worship Theme

To facilitate growth, the CITY ON A HILL 2010 worship theme is: Get To Know Your Bible.

In 2010, we pray worshippers will:
  • Know better the history, content, and context of the Bible.
  • Read and study the Bible regularly and consistently.
  • Be able to have a conversation about the Bible with their friends.
  • Know by heart 40 key passages from the Bible.

Why “Get To Know Your Bible” in 2010?
  • We see ourselves in the stories of the Bible.
  • We sense God when we regularly and consistently study the Bible.
  • We develop a healthy relationship with God through the Bible.
  • We find in the Bible the ultimate source of life and truth.
  • We discover the Bible is the primary way God guides us.

For your convenience, each of the 40 key passages will be shown here as we learn them. Check back often.
